I purchased a Golden Gate Ficus from a known online retailer last year. It has been doing well and hopefully it still is.
I was working on my trees last week when I noticed a number of "balls" on the ficus and would like to know what they are.
I've included pictures of the tree itself and two pictures of the "balls" in question in hope someone can tell me what they are!
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Vicki

Thank you SO much for the "good" information and quick reply!
Now I just have to wait to see the flowers! Looks like there's going to be quite a few of them too!

Those ARE the flowers.
Ficus has closed flowers. Read up on it, it is quite interesting. When you eat figs, yu eat loads of dead isects that have crawled into the fig and cannot get out.
