A few months ago I found a dwarfed pohutukawa tree and decided to plant it in a pot. I would like to turn it into a bonsai and I have no experience in the art of bonsai. It has grown a bit and I have no idea what to do with it. I would like some help and also if possible some pointers. Thanks!

At this stage, just let it grow. The bigger pot the faster it grows. Ideally, put it back in the ground and wait a few years.

And dont keep it inside!..
