Hey guys, do you have any recommendations on how to prune that tree? I got it like this last year and now I would like to give it a better look since it's quite a mess. It would be my first time doing this. I've posted it in the Pruning channel, but I haven't received reply so I thought that I would ask here. I'm a beginner after all. haha Thanks!

Your question has been asked a million times here on the forum, so please use the search button, loads of good info to be found here.
Second: is your tree always inside? If so, it needs to be outside ( or it will die)
Because you - as you say your self- are a beginner I would take the time to study, read up, inform about bonsai.First thing is to keep it alive for more than a year ( which will be difficult enough) meanwhile study all you can? As bonsai is a marathon and not a sprint, there is no need to do anything "now"

You need to remember that what you have is firstly a living plant forget bonsai, that comes later.
