Hello. I keep my Chinese Elm outside on my window. Should i keep it indoor in the night if the temperatures are below 10 degrees celsius?

I read this on the internet
"though generally tolerant, the Chinese Elm does not like drafts or a lot of variation in temperature. Most indoor tropical bonsai trees prefer temperatures between 60 and 70 degrees Fahrenheit. In the summer, Chinese Elm trees can be kept outdoors. However, you must remember to bring your bonsai tree indoors when the temperature drops below 60 degrees."

That advice is wrong, Chinese Elms do not so well inside, especially in winter. As for summer they will withstand any temperatures as long as there is water at the roots. Mine have been as low as -10C no problem. Chinese Elm are not a tropical species, and should not be treated as such.

You can find anything on the internet. I found a supposed veterinarian saying heart worm medicine kills dogs. It doesn't.

I have recommended looking for someone who has lots of trees and taking their advice. There are a few people on the empire here who fall in that category but a random web site doesn't.
