Hello, I have got the Acer Ginnala little tree, grown from a seed. It is now 1.5 years old, but as soon as the first leaves came out few weeks ago, they were light yellow with almost no green color. They doesn't seem to be dry. The tree was on a balcony throught the whole winter, situated on the south side of the house, the place was sunny and also a little windy. Is it possible that is is chlorosis? Or can anyone please suggest some sloutions for this? Thanks

did the leaves open that colour? If they did then I would think that was normal, if not then lack of light is an issue.

I am not sure, but I think, the first ones were kind of reddish, as those in the fall. Besides that, the tree was mostly on the direct sun through the day.
This is how it looked like last october

It is not chlorosis.
Some acers sprout new leaves in the Spring with a pale (or pinkish) color, only to be green after a few days, if outside and in the morning sun.
Yours look too pale, could be lack of sun as m5eaygeoff has said?
