can't tell from the pictures what is there, but some f the leaves look as if they have been eaten. check for insects under the leaves, I would give it a good soaking with water over the leaves and soil, this plant could do with serious pruning as it is very overgrown

I am not sure about prunning as long as the tree have health issues. First get it back to Good health.

There may not be any health issues apart from not being outside. The white power could just be calcium from water. Pruning will promote growth

Looks like a fungal infection.
Do you keep it inside, and do you spray it frequently with water?
I would move it outside in semi-shade to start off with and stop spraying.
