Most of the impressive bonsai we see are pretty old. 20 years minimum, and older and older after that.
Question: How long does it take to grow a 20 year old tree?

Tricky. Is a tree that's 500 years old, but has been in training for 20 years, a 20 year old bonsai or a 500 year old one?
