Hi all,
I have a large ficus ginseng bonsai (pic attached) that seems to be on its last legs. Around 2 months ago its lost 90% of its leaves and is now a bare trunk. There is a lot of dry, dead twigs on it that are bare and brittle. I have tried to repot it and when I removed it the roots seemed saturated with a very small cluster of roots. I've potted it in a larger pot and moved to a warmer room with direct sunlight but I see very little change. It's a lovely tree and I hope it can be saved. It's been watered around once a week since the reporting around a month ago. Any help/advice would be appreciated

I don't know when you repotted it, but it will take time for the plant to respond.
This is a braided ficus, a house plant, not a bonsai.
