i bought this Acer 2 years ago. When i repotted last year i found this strange nebari hidden under the soil. Sometimes i like it due to its really strange shape, sometimes i want to get rid of it by airlayering it , or use my dremel and carve the strangest ones away and try and make something nice of it..
Ideas/comments? Tree is hardly a prebonsai..

I would airlayer. That nebari needs too much work to start with what you have there.
