The leaves had dried, help? was created by Hris

Hi, I have a problem with bonsai tree. Not sure what kind of wood it is. I received it as a gift and when I took it home after 3-4 days, its leaves completely dried. I read that he would be better off if I put it in a plastic bag, which I did. It seems to me like its leaves are recovering, but I'm not sure how long it should stand and how to help it.
Ps: Not sure what kind of wood is, if anyone can tell me that?

Greetings from Serbia

this is a chinese elm.

Clearly you have have let the tree dry out. Either by bringing it from a humid environment into a dry one, or by forgetting to water it. Depending what was the cause a bag might be a better or worse idea.

What should i do to help him? The bag has helped the leaves recover a little, but I don't know how long I should keep it that way and whether there is anything else that can help.

Water would be a good idea. Chinese Elm are hardy, and do not do well inside.
