Hello,
I started 3 plants from seed they are some kind of pine tree.
One tree was getting brown tips, so i dug it out and lined a pot with gravel at the bottom hoping it would drain better.
Will this work? Are brown tips a bad sign?
Is the stem supposed to get brown?
How can I get the stems to be thicker?
How warm does it need to be before i can put them out side?
Thanks for the help.

A seedling is hard to identify by species. Lets hope someone very experienced Will recognice it.

stems turn brown over time yes.
Normally you would sow seeds in pots outside so they germinate when it gets warm enough. Plants know..
