That's a bad location for any plant. Trees belong outdoors and while a chinese elm is supposed to be able to survive indoors, it's not going to live if it's behind half closed blinds.
What do you mean you watered it last week? How long ago was that?

But i think you need repot with new better soil ...
In your photo, i see in soil a white think...

If you hit "quote" on the original post and then go to preview you can see the pictures.
SOmething in the forum software.
From there it was an easy downloading of each image to my laptop, upload anew to the forum and post.
