Where Do I Start?

I am new to bonsai and have bought a 3 year old Juniperus Prostrata from Bunnings.
The tree is in a pot and I am a little lost.
I have read a lot of information about reporting, wiring and pruning and I’m not sure what I should do! All the information talks about trees that are older and are actually bonsais.
Should I let it grow for a while before styling it or begin to wire and shape?
I might also be handy to know I live in Australia .
Thanks guys,

Just water and fertilize it accordingly while it grows

And, while it is growing, find some people locally who do bonsai and get to know them. Find out what they do, when, etc. Find some web sites and read what they say about feeding, etc.

Hello, yes, let it grow outdoors, fertilize it now up to late april/may , don't fertilize it in the winter , start fertilizing it again late august/september.
Junipers need a lot of sun and don't like to be wet all the time.
Good luck!
