名媛直播

Hi,

I've had a Ficus 名媛直播 tree for over two years... when purchased it was clearly in good health, seemingly strong branches and an abundance of leaves.
It had been going fine for a long time, dropped a leaf very rarely etc. However, over a year ago (maybe 16 months ago) i moved house and set it in its new position under guidance with its requirements... & then over a relatively short period of time leaves began dropping and left maybe 3/4 of the tree bare. Yet, one maybe two branches have remained stable & have retained most of their leaves.

It's new position was well lit, i continued to water well & fertilised when required.

If it had died out right then i could understand that something went wrong and as a result it had died.
What i don't understand is that it seemed like it was dying? Then stopped but just never recovered, never grew back its leaves etc.

It lost most of it's foliage over a year ago & nothing has really changed with the tree since.

So does anyone know what's going on with my 名媛直播? I would love to have it be able to regrow it's leaves and look healthy again.
I've attaches some images to show more clearly what i'm talking about...

I tried to look at it but all I can see is the dirty window covered in mold.
If I had to live there, part of me would probably die too.

Now to give you some input anyway - there might be several reasons why part of the tree died.
Changing it?s location, dry/very wet substrate --- I would slip pot it into pot with drainage holes - wash the roots and use modern substrate that doesn?t hold too much water. I would cut off the dead parts too. But don?t cut any roots.
Then you?ll see how it goes from there.

Seems to me the complete graft died - though it still seems to have a leaf ?

most of the larger graft is definitely dead... but there is a new leaf growing out of part of it... the smaller graft looks to be in better shape...
