What did the shop where you bought it say?

I'm guessing it's a cypress.

It planted itself in my yard and I moved it to a pot a year ago to save it. I was told it was a Juniper but I am looking for the exact type. I asked about it before in this forum but nobody gave me an exact name.

Does not look like Juniper to me difficult to tell.

I don't think it looks like a thuja. See:

So, the answer to the original question: "Can someone please tell me, exactly, what type of plant this is?" probably is: no, sorry, here are too many species and varieties that look too similar.

These are four different species (or is that Genus..ses? LB?) - Thuja, Juniper, Cypress, Chamaecyparis. There are more that look very similar.
