ficus bonsai leaves froze! How do I help it recover? was created by Kelseystree

I just bought it two days ago, on my way home the leaves froze from the cold weather and now they’re turning very dark and getting very droopy. I read to mist it so I’ve misted it once. No leaves have fallen yet but I’m unsure if I should try to give it a bunch of light or not to recover? I have a grow light that I can hospitalize it with? SOS, first bonsai, what do I do to help this poor thing?
The photos are a comparison of how they -the leaves- were when I first got it (on the way home) and how they are right now

If the plant was frosted it is unlikely to recover. There is not much you can do. There are no pictures, if it was only for a very short time, a few minutes then it might survive but there is little you can do.
