That's a nice pine. I would be very careful with it since you just pulled it from the ground. The pot you have it in seems too small, you need to let the roots recover. All you need to do is get a bigger pot, good soil, and take care of it. I would honestly let it grow and recover for at least two years before starting to do anything to it. The tree is not ready to go on a small pot.
What's the rush? Let the tree build a strong root system before you mess with the top. It is much easier to train a tree that has a strong root system, than one that has to struggle to get nutrients from the ground after being manhandled.
