Im a 名媛直播 beginner. Im currently rooting Hybrid Poplar and Hybrid Willow cuttings to plant on my property. Would either one of these be suitable for 名媛直播? They both grow fast and they are both resilient. I know that they wouldn't likely be the most attractive as a 名媛直播 but I'm wanting something that can give me some time to make a few mistakes before I get better. :)

Any tree can be made into a bonsai.

If you think so, then why bother?
Why not get something you would consider attractive as a bonsai?

The fact that they grow very fast can make it difficult to keep them small. On the other hand, it could offer a 'speed course' to make mature looking bonsai in short time, but most people into bonsai are not in a hurry. It takes years to train a bonsai from cuttings, regardless of species, so my advice would be to start several (5-10?) projects, and see what becomes of them.

Hi there.

I tried grey poplar myself and collected one 3 years ago.
This is how it looks today.

Growing bonsai from cutting is gonna take many years, but if you are not in a hurry, why not to try?
You can control it?s shape from the beginning :)

Good luck!
