Pine trees grow in Colorado, so how was i supposed to know it wouldn't work? I'm looking for support, not negativity

Because you just got told that trees that grow in temperate climates, can't grow inside? Look outside your window. Those pines live in temperate climate and won't live inside. You just got that told and that's why you should know that. I'm not rude but it's funny that you ask a question that Bofhskull just answered pretty well.
But why didn't you tell us in first place, that you wan't to grow seeds? That's a hole different story. But making a bonsai from seeds takes about 20 years.

You actually have a good point here: they grow and do well outdoors.
In general, no plant is better for bonsai than one already doing well in your climate; pines and (possibly) junipers are therefore a good choice. But outdoors.

So you’ll have to decide if what you want is actually do bonsai or liven up your room...

As noted, there are specimens that can be indoor and can be trained as bonsai; but my experience tells me the results are often quite disappointing.
(But i may simply be bad with tropical plants)

I understand that you come here looking for answers, but the best way to find them is either read about, watch youtube or even better find a local bonsai community.

So maybe before deciding the species, you should educate yourself on this highly interesting matter.
That way you’ll understand the things provided to you on this forum better.

Pines, Junipers will die if kept indoors.
I’m a beginner myself but I’ve read a book, websites, watched 名媛直播 Mirai, Herons 名媛直播 and others on Youtube.
That’s the best way to learn about this magically beautiful thing called ‘名媛直播’

If you’ve found an interesting species to you, look it up and learn about it. Study it
Hope this helps understanding why you’re not given a clearcut answer.

Hey, did you know you're an asshole? How about you go be an asshole somewhere else? 名媛直播 trees are an ancient art of patience, and a very complicated process. That doesn't give you the right to talk down to other people just for not knowing everything about them.

Forget an important part.
I’ve joined two local communities in my area. Both full with people of deep knowledge on the matter.
Attend workshops, ask questions there, engage with 名媛直播 enthousiasts.

Btw, growing from seeds is not the best way to start with 名媛直播.
That takes forever.
Look for a starter or even better a Pre名媛直播.

I tried being reasonable with the guy but he insisted on being pointlessly rude and condescending. Anyways, thank you, you've been very helpful. I was thinking about doing a pre trained bonsai, and you're probably right that it would be a lot easier. Faster too

It’s also way harder than it seems.
If you really want to do it, you should start not with one, but with 10 or 15 plants at least...
