Ligustrum Obtusifolium, Japanese privet.
You could look that up. Search for Ligustrum Obtusifolium care. I did not know it for this specific variety, so I Googled it for you.
You'll see it's listed as an outdoor plant. Also, you'll see:
Climate: Subcontinental climate
Minimal temperature: 2°C (35°F)
Optimal temperature: 22-24°C (71-75°F)
So no, I don't think you can keep this indoors. Actually, all trees will do better outdoors (provided it's in the right climate).
But why pick a species and ask if it can be kept indoors? Why not look up a list of trees that can be kept indoors?

Do you have any option to keep the trees in a cold but frost Free place in winter?
I keep my ligusturum sinense in my unheated basement at 5-10 c. If kept like that not much light is needed. That is actually by definition indoor. What is bad for the trees is living room temperature in winter, not to be kept indoor.

Did think that ligusturum sinense, the chinese version did not need dormancy period in winter as many sell them as indoor?

Bo Hansson wrote: Yes because, the website you refer to only list 9 species for indoor.
I did not refer to that site for indoor bonsai.

As allways....that depends. Growing them on a widowsill in room temperature without additional light where I live would be hard. I Think de had 3 sunny Days in november and 5 in december. And those Days are just a few hours long.
In my location I havent heard of anyone overwintering any bonsai in living room temperature successfully. Dry air is also an issue in central heated house.

But still not got an answer to my question, do this species need a dormancy period in winter?
So is it possible to keep indoor?
I grow chinese elm, serissa, ficus, carmona without any overwintering.
