Yellow leaves

Hello everybody! I'm new to the bonsai world as some friends gave me one for my recent graduation. At first, everything was fine: Until mid-november everything was fine, but since winter came I can't prevent the leaves to become yellow and at some point fall.
I live in Italy, in a region in which winter is quite cold: by night it can get to - 4 C and maximum during the day to 9 C. It is also extremely humid.
I'm keeping the tree inside the house where the temperatures go between 17 and 21 (which shouldn't be bad for its type), I'm watering it almost every day to keep the soil humid.
I attach some photos to give a better explanation. I hope you can help me with this cause I really don't want it to die.
Also, if you have any tips for me, fire ahead!
I thank you dearly in advance, I hope you have a great year!

Elm are deciduous plants. In winter they drop their leaves. You have the perfect climate for it to be outside year round.

Thank you! So are you saying that everything is fine? Should I keep doing what I'm doing?

Yes, it is better for the plant to be in a fixed spot instead of being moved multiple times. Yellow leaves are normal in elms so don't be alarmed when they turn yellow and fall. Just keep the soil moist and you will be good to grow!
