Hello everyone in 名媛直播 Empire! I'm brand new to the forums, and trying to start with the 名媛直播 Art with my fiance. We got some specimens at a local nursery in South Florida. Specifically, this one, apparently a Serissa, started losing leafs today, and I spotted some with brown tips. From my own research, I came to know that it needs moisture, and being temperamental, hates to be moved around. We repotted it a week ago, and used some soil the nursery had for sale with volcanic rock, and other things.

Chance anyone knows specifically what tree we have, and how to prevent this browning in the tips, and maybe down the road how to promote branching, and better trunk?

It looks OK so far.
They really lose a lot of leaves when moved around, and are iffy, a difficult species for beginners.
I can be honest and confess I hate them.
:woohoo:

But try to just keep it alive during the winter and let's see it again in the spring.

Hello everyone again! Thank you so much for your quick reply!

I've been observing Serissa for a few days now. I read somewhere that it could be normal for the plant to lose all leafs after repotting. Tho, I found new buds coming out even when the big leafs are falling. Just want to receive any inputs on this. I've been keeping the soil moist, and the whole plant moist. Understood this plant is not for newbies like me, and for under researching, ended up taking one. I just want to make sure I give her a good life since she's home already.

It's not even a plant for non-newbies. Clicio doesn't like 'm, neither do I. They drop leaves when it is too warm, too cold, too dry, too wet, when you sneeze, when you play the wrong music and when you walk past them without having the correct expression on your face.

Serissa is only suitable for people that live in the climate where Serissas grow.

I have to say, I love your reply! Hahaha just made my day!

I have been playing Christmas music for her, and still she's mad or who knows what. Will keep giving the attentions and all that. Let's see next year what's up with her!

Here she is! Listening to flamenco music, with all the attentions daily, and still dropping leafs and browning at the tips. I spotted some new leafs growing.

Not so bad.
But...
There is gossip around saying that they hate flamenco music and are more into heavy metal.
I can't try it though 'cause all my Serissas are dead.
