Cool.I know Crassula gets red fringes on the foliage, or in some cases the full leave. Never new Portocularia to do this too. Anybody has a picture?
The current plant is for sure not too dry. I am betting on
- Very dark position
- In a cool location
- Watered

Not just Crassula and Portulacaria do that.

It is hard to tell if the roots are rotting. The soul doesn’t feel moist but I will leave the tree out of the pot for a few days if needed.

Put it back in the pot, with just some more grit in the soil.
If you are in the northern hemisphere, keep it as dry and cold as possible (over 5 degrees)
The chanse of survival is low, but to early to give up.
