This is a bonsai forum. What you have is not a bonsai or a species suitable for bonsai.

The greenhouse had it identified as a bonsai, do you think they had it mislabeled?

No, it was labelled bonsai on purpose. It's not mislabelled but misleading.

That might be a Zamioculcas Zamiifolia
