Hi All,
I have a Kotobuki Japanese Black Pine, I am ready to style it. My question is how long should I leave it in the original pot after styling? Should I wait until spring, next year, or anytime after 2 weeks. thank you in advance.

General recommendation is to work pines only once per year. So if you style this year, wait at least a year. Older trees this may be longer. Very healthy young trees can take more. Without knowing whether we are talking a century old yamadori, or a 2 year old seedling..
