everything i have been reading says they are supposed to be outdoors not indoors... they intended it to be one of my new office plants (i have MANY)
Is it at all possible for it to survive in my office? The building thermostat is set between 72 & 73.. and our temps outside have been hitting low 20s (F) at night and only about 50s during the day...?
I attached a picture of my tree
ALSO..
They ordered me a set of 4 different types of seeds to grow my own.. but i can start another thread for those if need be.
Any advice would be appreciated!!

OK... so, there we go again, bursting some bubbles.
Flower shops do not sell bonsai. What you have is a nice gift, but not a bonsai. It's just a young juniper.
It will most certainly NOT survive in an office. Junipers belong outdoors.
It is not impossible to grow bonsai from seed, but it is a very long term project - think decades. Realistically speaking, someone new to bonsai will not succeed in it.
Sorry, but that's the grim truth.

as for the ones from seeds.. i am perfectly fine with them being long term projects.. I have many plants that are years old.. i have about 40 different plants currently in my office here at work and several more indoor at home. I love my plants and enjoy taking care of them.
I am NOT partial to flower arrangements that die
Thank you!

Do you know which treespecies you have seeds from? It is VERY likely that these need to be outside too...

Jacaranda can sprout indoors.
The Pines and the Picea should be sowed outdoors, to sprout in the Spring.

My Juniper has been living on my front porch.. temperatures have been down in the teens (farenheit) so far it's still looking good!!
Not sure where to move it too when summer comes though since it gets really hot on the porch..
