Something like mold on the soil

Hello! I've had my Chinese elm bonsai for almost 3 moths now, and it is my first bonsai but I did a lot of research so I think I've been doing a pretty good job taking care of it so far. It has always been kept indoors so I keep it in my bedroom by the window. I water it whenever the soil gets dry till water comes out of the drainage hole. I bought some bonsai fertilizer for it and used it once a week (as instructed on the label) for about 6 weeks. Did I overdo it? Cause it has some new growth and looks overall healthy but since two weeks ago there is this white fluffy thing spreading on the soil that looks like mold and I don't know if it's something bad, and how to get rid of it (if I should). Please take a look at the pictures below.
I stopped feeding it as soon as this problem appeared. What should I do?

Hello,
It is definitely mold; likely caused from poor draining soil. The foliage looks good but I suspect the roots are rotted which means its probably too far gone. I recommend repotting with bonsai soil ASAP. Full disclosure: I am a newbie.

From your pictures it is not possible for me to tell what you have. IT could very well be salt buildup. Every week fertilizing is too often.
Repotting.. I would not do it now. People jump too often to repotting in my opinion.
Please try and place a focussed non-blurred picture.

Does the white stuff look more crystalline or more hairy / fuzzy? Crystalline would indicate salt build up from fertilizer. Fuzzy and circular patterns would be mold.
Once you determine if its salt or mold then you can work on a solution.
The tree looks healthy but the soil looks highly organic and water retentive. If it is poorly draining soil, then repotting during this time of year (in northern hemisphere) is generally appropriate.

Winter would be optimal time for repotting but I would consider this an emergency repot (if it is mold).

Winter is not the optimal time for repotting
Even if it is mold it is a matter of watering less to solve the problem.

Thank you so much for the advice. Here are some better pictures from up close. It think it is mold rather than salt.
