Hello there!
I'm very new to this and I'm just looking for some feedback. I just picked up a small nursery type J. Holly about 4 inches this weekend and repotted it. From what I've read it wasn't probably the best time to repot it but you live and learn. Some of the leaves have started to turn a lighter shade of green, not all of them but about 1/8 of them.
To my eyes, they started to lighten up at the top first before any near the bottom, other than shock is there something I'm missing. I have watered when the soil has become dry. Is this possibly an iron deficiency or is this a broader nutrient problem possibly? Any help would be appreciated, I would like for it to live but as I understand mistakes are made
Thanks in advance for anyone's knowledge and advice

Young new shoots are light green and when they harden off and get older they get a darker green. It is perfectly normal, dont stress it. Just water it normally.

Do note that if you did not bring it inside for the picture, you should bring it outside.

Since your tree is in new organic soil. Any defficiency is not likelly. That soil containes everything the plant needs for at least 3 months.
