New to 名媛直播 need help!!!? was created by Grin869

Hi, I've recently been given a 名媛直播 for my birthday from my son. When I got it, it was full of life and very bushy (as you would expect). I've followed all the instructions on watering, feeding, pruning etc, but it just seems to be doing off at the top. At the bottom it seems to have regular new growth, but there is nothing from the middle up. What is wrong with it? How do I/can I encourage new growth at the top?

Would really appreciate the advice of the experienced on this forum.

Thanks in advance

I think that the top is dead and that the bottom will follow soon. What substrate is it planted in?

Thank you for your reply. I don't know what it is planted in I'm afraid, it is as it came from the supplier. (apologies, complete novice here!)

How recently did you get it? It has been a while to get in this state. I am not sure what species it is but it is obvious that you are not giving it the proper culture. Get it in as much light as possible, stop fertiliser. Be careful with watering. No pruning, and hope that it will recover. Do not re pot it is weak enough without making it weaker. If you have had it less than a month I would think about taking it back to where you got it from and demand your money back.
