Good evening fellow bonsai enthusiasts,
I have recently purchased a juniper starter kit, I followed every instruction step by step to the T, As far as pruning amount , less than 20% root trim prior to potting , I water about eveyother day sometimes on the 3rd day when i feel the soil at a 3 moisture rating from a scale of 1-10. (1 bone dry 10 soaked ) I am now starting to notice it is slightly browning in many areas and the needles in some areas are going brittle and not as fluffy as before. The tree sits on a south facing outdoor balcony with partial direct sunlight and shaded light throughout the day. What can this be and how can I save this little guy !?!?
Thank you in advanced

Looks like the outcome of rough handling. Have you done any pruning or wiring? Handles the foliage ?
