Hey everyone
I got this juniper bonsai a few months ago and wasn't aware that this is an outdoor tree and it has been kept inside up until 5 days ago when I found out what kind of tree it is. Since I placed it outside, the yellowish parts have gotten worse and some smaller areas are now turning yellow. I started fertilizing it a month ago and water it only when the soil is almost completely dry. The weather has been getting chilly at night and in the mornings since I live in northern colorado and we have had a lot of rain and wind in the last few days. I love this tree and I want to help it but I feel hopeless right now. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Your juniper was in the wrong climate, and now you stressed it more by changing that climate again.
Not much you can do apart from wait and see what happens. Give it proper care, including watering it properly, see the care guidelines on this site.
Ofcourse this is not a bonsai, but the guidelines will still apply.

Or, if you want the tree to have any chance of living through this, don't.
The last thing this plant needs now is fertilizer. It first needs to settle back in. Chances are thi is a lost cause already, but one never knows.
