My brother recently made a cutting from his ginseng bonsai tree and rooted 3 leaves in water. the roots took off and wound themselves into a nest. I didn't want to try to pull them apart in fear of damaging them. but now i have 3 plants growing side by side. see photos.
is this a huge mistake? should i kill the 2 smaller ones? or see what happens?
all comments and suggestions welcome
thanks,

Personally, i would have taken them apart. For bonsai you are looking for a nice base with well distributed roots. But you can let it gain strength and next summer take them apart.
