Giant sequoia seedling care guide needed. was created by Dagobert

I'm buying a Giant Sequoia seedling and I would like some tips on taking care of it. I've read a little about it but I'm not sure if all of it applies to them at a seedling stage.
What type of soil is good for it?
Should it be in a deep small pot for a while or can I put it in a small shallow pot?
Is it indoors for a while? If so, how long and what type of lighting would be good for it?
I live in Washington state so it barely has any summer, like maybe a week of straight sunshine and it's back to rain. If I do keep it outdoors, will the direct sunlight kill it at this stage? Rain and wind?
How long should one wait to wire it from a seedling stage?
Anything else I need to know about it?

These are not really bonsai questions. You're growing a tree first. What I do not really understand is, that, if you have no experience growing trees at all, you think you'll be able to do something so far more challenging as growing a bonsai.
Trees belong outdoors. You don't wire it until you are sure the tree is doing fine - and you know how, when and why to wire.
For the next months / years, you'll be growing a tree and just that, until it is ready to be prepared to become a bonsai.
First learn how to grow that tree.
