Hi,
I am an bonsai amateur and after coming back from a long trip, I saw that my office bonsai lost a lot of leaves and has furry stuff on most branches. I was wondering if anyone was kind enough to tell me what is the problem and what I should do.
Thanks!

the problem is underwatering.
What to do? Pray that it will survive watering. Avoind the impulse to make the soil soaking wet. YOu are going for "just moist" at this stage, or what is left of the roots will for sure die completely and start rotting.
THe furry stuff has always been there. You have just not noticed it before.

Thanks a lot! I feel quite dumb for not noticing it sooner, but then again, it used to be covered in leaves which hid these furry parts.
