I just bought a bonsai tree from a local plant nursery, it was labeled as a juniper bonsai but i am not sure what species of juniper it is, can anyone identify it?

The word 'bonsai' does not belong on that label

Is there any way this kind of juniper can be kept indoors?

No, it will die if kept indoors.

Not any tree can be a bonsai, but many can. Junipers certainly make good bonsai. Putting a young juniper in a bonsai pot and labelling it bonsai, does not make it a bonsai though.

Easy enough: does it look like a tree in a pot? Not really does it- it is just a young plant in a pot labelled bonsai to sell it...

would this have the potential to become a true bonsai with the right care and dedication?
