Ligustrum sinense dying was created by Bragaluf

Hi there!
I'm a beginner to bonsai and I think I've made some serious mistakes with one of my trees. This one is a ligustrum sinense that came from a regular planthouse store. It had some pretty nasty scarring from agressive wiring but I figured it would make a good practice tree. When I got it home I ordered some stuff for repotting it and within a week or so it was repotted. At first it seemed really tired but then it took to and had a beatiful growth spurt. Our only window with direct sunlight is facing the sun all day long so I got a cheaper grow-lamp to put it in during hot middays or really cloudy days. I pruned it a few times in the following months and it seemed to be doing really well.
Then I got the idea to wire a thicker branch (did a couple thinner ones before). I was unsatisfied at first so I wound it a bit tighter. The day after this i noticed the leaves on that branch started wilting. So I took off all wires on the entire tree and covered every little mark from them in wound sealant. At first only the secondary branches the furthest out started dying but it kept going inwards toward the trunk and then the leaves of other branches started turning partially brown and then completely wilting off. Eventually it reached the crown and now the last leaves are going there as well. They die really quick once it starts but the leaves still unaffected look healthy. I'm guessing I did something to the trees supply in the main trunk when wiring.
Is there anything I can do to increase it's chances? The last three pictures (with the violet light) are from today and the others are from about a week ago.
Cheers! :)

Yeah... stop fiddling with it. You repotted, wired, wired again, rewired, unwired, pruned and changed its climate. That's probably been a bit too much stress for the plant.

Trees are much slower than us. They need more time to recover from what you do to 'm.
