Hi All!
I just purchased a bonsai last week and repotted it with a soil of Pumice, Akadama, and lava rocks. It is starting to turn yellow (see photos). I have watered every day and we have had some rain the last couple days. It gets direct sunlight in the morning and shade late afternoon and evening. Not sure what to do, is this normal? Should I use a different soil?

Could be blight. Treat with a copper based fungicide if it is - but wait for others to confirm (or deny and tell what it really is. Maybe just new young growth? If it turns brown, I'm pretty sure it's blight. Also if it is the existing foliage that is turning yellow)
Don't just water every day, water when needed.
Also, this is not a bonsai. it's a very young juniper in a bonsai pot.
