Hi there! I recently got a Fukien Tea Tree and want to make sure I take care of it well as it's more difficult than some others I have.
I plan to leave it outside as possible during spring/summer, but during winter my thought is that I might want to get a light for it. I can keep it by a window, but I feel like I've heard varying things in terms of amount of light it requires - I've heard as little as six hours, but my understanding is that that can impact flowering as well.
Curious to hear if you have any advice on the topic. Thanks in advance!

I did see another thread where it was called out that most folks here don't use lights (and that this is an extremely common question) so apologies for retreading the same ground. I did read
www.bonsaiempire.com/tree-species/carmona
and other resources before posting (which is actually where I got the idea for the light).
Maybe understanding how little is too little is a better question for a plant that does need to come in for winter.

Not exactly. I wrote that as far as I know most folks don't use growlights. There may be forum visitors that do, so you may have to wait for someone else to respond.

I have some fukien tea trees. My trees flower all year without any lights. I place my trees near the window with the most sun.
