I recently got this ficus bonsai tree for my birthday, I think it's around 7-10 years old, however, I am not really sure... I just wanted some tips on keeping it alive haha. Buying some feed is next on my list. I had this one in mind, any thoughts?
I also planted some dawn redwood seeds at the start of the year and one had made it. So I am also trying my best to keep him alive. Any tips would help!

Buy different types of trees, different ages, try different things, wiring, no wiring, indoors and outdoors. I'm new myself, literally started last week when it was my birthday and I got tools, but no trees. So I used some Jade (and finger Jades) that I had in my house. I feel I have done them wrong, but, i've done them all differently and learned on the way!
It's not as easy as you think! But keep trying! I've just bought two junipers from the nursery and going to attempt to bonsai these.
