Hello!
I am new here and in desperate need of help. I am a "名媛直播" novice but I generally don't have issues with my plants. I normally am able to solve problems on my own but this plant has me stumped on how to make it happy. Hopefully you fine folks can help me out!
I do not remember the species name for this Quince (oops!) but i have had this tree before, indoors (same water, dirt mix, even same location) without issues.
Here's the history:
I've had it in my home in its original 7gal grower pot for about 2 months to make sure that it was happy/healthy in my homes environment. About 2 weeks ago I repotted it. About 4 days ago the leaves/branches started to droop but just slightly. I checked the soil with a water meter and it wasn't dry but was ready to be watered again. I watered it, its draining fine. It's still in the same spot it has always been. Drooping is worse now.... I know better than to water it again for fear of overwatering so now I've tried to give it more humidity with a pebble tray under it. Still not happy. Tried more sunlight. Still not happy. The drooping is so bad its now breaking the newer thin branches.
What is going on?
Thank you!

Struggling indeed. Lesson to be learned.. report befor the plant starts growong in spring.
For now, keep out of the wind. Give dappled shade. I would conisder placing the plant in a large transparant bag, to get the humidity up untill new buds open (or it dies)

As LB says: repotting deciduous trees when they are in leaf is dangerous.
Also a quince really needs to be outside ( but be careful now, a splash of sun could burn all the already struggling leafs).

Well, let me tell you a secret; quinces are one of the few species that must be repotted in the fall.
For now, follow leatherback's guidelines, they usually work.
Sorry about your tree.

Thank you all so much for your information. Looks like I really screwed up. Lesson learned.
Bagged it as suggested.
Will give an update next week.
