Hello, just curious if anyone here has had any luck with indoor deciduous bonsais. From my reading, it sounds like trees like maples can do OK, but they still require a dormancy period, which makes sense.
I'm currently working on a forsythia bonsai and I'm curious if the same rules apply.
Any others that you have tried?
Thanks!

Trees belong outdoors. Deciduous trees belong even more outdoors than other trees. That belong outdoors.

All maples I have tried to grow indoors, even living in a tropical country, died.
All maples I have tried to grow outdoors even living in a tropical country, are thriving for years.
