I've had this bonsai for I think a year now and it was doing great! (second tree)
After a while I kind of forgot about it or thought it would still be fine don't remember exactly.
The leaves started wilting so I started watering it again but the leaves wouldn't turn back to its normal shiny green state.
All the leaves started crumbling and they were 100% done.. so I removed all the leaves (this is where I think I screwed up)
For the past 2 months I've been giving watering correctly, fertilizing it, and re potted it in Akadama + a mix of zeolite, lava granulate and pumice
I fertilize it once every 2 weeks.
I cut one of the branches to see if the tree was still alive and it was still green.. but I can't seem to get a single leave to re appear on the tree
Is there anything that I'm overseeing?

Don't take me wrong, but none doesn't "forget about it" and then "start watering again".
The tree was already very weak, and then you...
Repotted it!
A perfect recipe to kill a tree in a pot.
Sorry.
It will be difficult, but who knows? Wait a little longer, don't overwater it, keep it in dappled shadow and let's hope for the best.
