In the next month Im moving to a bigger place, there will be a west facing balcony and west facing terrace. So very limited sunlight, i also live in Scandinavia, which means very dark, short days and freezing temperatures in winter.
I would like to have some outside (grown from seed, or retirement project as i call it).
I already have some juniper seeds, any other seeds you would recommend?

I would not recommend juniper. They need lots of light.

Yew (taxus) on the other hand takes well to more shaded positions, as do japanese maples.

I am not convinced you should grow them from seed, but you could
