My brazilian raintree is yellowing after being repotted. I transfered it from a four inch starter pot to a 6. 5 inch bonsai pot. I didn't root prune as they didn't require it yet. I assume the yellowing is from the stress of the transfer, but I want to make sure. Any info is really appreciated. Thanks

It looks like repotting stress.
Did you keep the same substrate? If up potting BRT is advisable keeping the soil and roots as stable as possible. You can bare root a BRT, but not so young.

Sure aiaiai.
But if it's warm enough and the soil is similar to the old soil, there is still a chance. They are original Brazilians after all, should be strong.
IF NOT, drop me a line and out goes the little envelope with more seeds...

I did keep most of the old materials. I had to spread the root ball but 75 percent remained on it still. Thanks for putting my worries to bed. I love my little BRT so much!!

I am wondering if it would be better to place it outside in the heat or to keep it inside for a couple weeks until it is adjusted to the new pot? I currently have it inside under my lights on a humidity tray. It's in the mid 80s right now in my area.

I would put it outside, in a shaded area.

Nah, I might be in Sampa in a few weeks again
Maybe I should organize to import a larger specimen.
