Hello new to these forums hope im posting in right section. I just planted my first bonsai trees a week or so ago and im wondering if i should keep them inside or outside while they are germinating. I live in new orleans so it gets pretty hot outside. Also any additional tips would be greatly appreciated such as watering next steps etc.
The trees ive planted are Pinus Aristata, Delonix Regia, Jacaranda Mimosifolia, Picea Abies

No, you didn't.Gordo wrote: I just planted my first bonsai trees a week or so ago
You have planted some seeds that hopefully will sprout and grow to be seedlings.
Usually outside, if it's not below zero C.Gordo wrote: I am wondering if i should keep them inside or outside while they are germinating.
Too hot? In dappled shade.
I have no idea what hot in New Orleans means. Here in Sao Paulo 40C and above we call hot.Gordo wrote: I live in new orleans so it gets pretty hot outside.
The Pinus and Picea like cold winters.Gordo wrote: The trees ive planted are Pinus Aristata, Delonix Regia, Jacaranda Mimosifolia, Picea Abies
The Delonix and Jacaranda are tropicals and will not be comfortable with temperatures below 10C.
It will be not easy to adapt them all to thrive in New Orleans. It can be done, of course, but it will be a very steep and shaky learning process.
