Hey John,

I have asked the moderator to remove your email address. This is asking for trouble, publishing your email.

Where do you get stuck trying to post a picture?
In order to post a picture, you need to have the picture in maximum of 1MB in size. The longest side of the picture should be max 1000px.
Then you start a new post to the thread, and click on "attachment" where you can upload the picture.

I am the wrong person to give advice on pines, as I manage to kill them quite effectively...

That being said.. You do realize these need to be outside right? Bringing them in for a picture or so is ok. But keeping them inside will be the end of the tree eventually..

You asked about pruning. One thing to keep in mind is that pines grow their branches in whorls: Many branches at the same spot. You should rellay aim at having 1 branch at any given location. Else you get thick lumps in the trunk. As a guiding principle you should remove branches that grow "inside" a bend, and try to keep a sort of left/right/back rythm going to ensure branches are evenly spread around the crown if that makes sense.

Any advice here is secondary: if that tree stays there it will die.
So, as stated in the beginning of this thread: first thing is don't touch it but keep it alive.
