Help to save a branch.

I found this branch of juniper (maybe I am wrong) 3 days ago on street it was cut and thrown out. Juniper is rare in nurseries. I put it on water and kept it outdoor area but it seems it is going to die. Is it possible to save it?

No is the short answer. If you can make cuttings out of it then it might be possible but not in water

Thanks for guiding. Each image file size after resizing was over 2 mb and attachments has 1mb limits.
