Pinus Aristata Troubleshooting

First, some context: I received a from-seed bonsai kit as a Christmas gift. I planted the 4 species on December 28, 2018, and I’ve tried to water them every day. I haven’t been able to dedicate as much time to my seeds as I would like to, though. 7 weeks later, however, only 1 seed has sprouted, and it’s a Pinus aristata. It sprouted early (around the 2 week mark) and got about 2 inches tall. It gets plenty of water and sun, but it’s been wilting recently. The stem is starting to yellow, and the needles have dried out, despite proper hydration. When I looked at it today, I accidentally jostled the pot. To my horror, the cotelydons dropped off instantly. Now sans needles, I’m starting to wonder what I did wrong. Am I not watering it enough? If it turns out that it’s an outdoor bonsai, there’s a big catch: It’s 16 °F and snowing. There’s a picture of my seedling attached. Any help is appreciated.

I am afraid this is a goner. Nothing to be done.
It is probably related to t being indoors, and to sowing in the wrong season. Next time, sow in fall and place outside. In spring it will germinate and have the whole summer to get strong.
