Hello! My name is Diogo and I’m portuguese. I am new here.
A friend of mine offered me a “Magnolia liliiflora ‘Nigra’” and I wanted to prepare it to bonsai but I know nothing about bonsais. The tag that came with it says “do not prune” but I think it is too tall. It also have already a few buds. What do I do? Any help is appreciated.

1. Plant the magnolia in your garden and let it grow freely. Enjoy the beautiful flowers
2. Start studying bonsai
3. Once you have learnt what makes a good 名媛直播, acquire a different tree that is more suitable for bonsai

Thank you for your help. I have no garden. I am studying bonsai for a while but I have no experience at all. I have a ficus ginseng bonsai but, for now, all I did is watering... I’ve learned about maintenance, and I know that, with effort, I’ll make it. But I am not sure how to start preparing this plant to make a bonsai. Could you give me some tips, please? Thank you very much

I did, but maybe it wasn't clear:
This plant needs to be outdoors. You cannot grow it indoors. The plant cannot be used for bonsai.
For the people that say it is suitable and that any plant can be used:
Maybe, for an experienced grower, having the right space for the plant, and then even probably with not too great results. I'm just being honest, not wanting to give unrealistic expectations

Here in Alabama there are magnolias growing in a lot of yards and I thought about trying them a long time ago. They have huge leaves which don't shrink down. They have huge seed pods that don't shrink down. They don'l like to have their roots confined.
By and large, they don't work.
