I have (barely) maintained several nice evergreen bonsai, and realize it's time to do some long overdue repotting pruning and training.

How would I seriously begin this process? I would think the ideal way would be to post photos and devote some study to each of the trees. Then hopefully a MENTOR could advise some initial steps to take to get these trees back towards their ultimate beauty and longevity. I have some tools, and wish to make up my own bonsai soil.

I'll start a folder for my own reference, and get some photos ready. I have spent a great deal of time at tree line on mountains and can appreciate the possibilities of creating likenesses of the gorgeous specimens I've witnessed.

Please post some pictures and... repot in the spring.

OK pictures. They were outside this summer after almost drying out in my greenhouse. Figured mother nature would do a better job than I was doing.
